Privacy
The short version: no cookies of our own, no analytics, no advertising, no accounts. We keep something only when you suggest a connector, and as little of it as we can. One page, the Suggest a connector page, loads a Cloudflare check that tells people from bots as soon as you open it.

Who is responsible
Soxoa LLC, California, United States, publishes appsformuse.com and is the controller of the personal information described here. Contact: hello@appsformuse.com.
When you just read the site
- We set no cookies and use no analytics, advertising, fingerprinting or social-media trackers.
- Fonts and scripts are served from our own domain, with one exception. The Suggest a connector page loads Cloudflare Turnstile, a human-verification check, from
challenges.cloudflare.com. It loads when you open that page, before you send anything. No other page loads anything from another domain. - We do not track you, here or across other sites, so the site behaves the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. No third party collects information about your activity over time or across sites through this site.
- The site runs on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address, browser user agent and the page requested in order to deliver the page and protect the service. It also keeps short-lived technical logs. We use those logs only to operate and secure the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- The “Find a connector” search and the list filters run entirely in your browser. What you type is not sent to us.
When you suggest a connector
The form collects:
- The connector name and source link. These are published on the review log together with the decision.
- An optional note and optional email address. These are never published and never sent to an AI model. They are read by a person only if something about the submission needs a human. They are deleted 90 days after the submission.
- A one-way hash of your network address (your IP address, or for IPv6 the /64 network it belongs to), salted with a random value that is made new each day (UTC). An old salt is deleted the first time the form is used on a later day, and by a daily clean-up job in any case. So it is gone within about a day of its last use. The hash lets us cap submissions per network per day. Once the salt is gone the hash cannot be recomputed, so it cannot be tied back to an address or link your activity across days. The hash itself is deleted after 90 days.
- The human-verification check. The Suggest a connector page runs Cloudflare Turnstile. It loads when you open the page, and it processes your IP address and browser signals under Cloudflare’s privacy policy to tell people from bots. Cloudflare says Turnstile is not used for advertising; it may set a cookie of its own that is strictly needed for the check. We receive only a pass or fail.
How AI is used
Our reviewer sends the connector name and text from the public page you linked to AI models hosted on Cloudflare Workers AI, to pull out a quotation and draft the listing. Your note, email address and IP address are not sent to any AI model. Decisions are made by fixed rules described on the How it works page, and affect only whether a product appears in this directory.
Why we are allowed to do this
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on legitimate interests: running and securing the site, preventing abuse of the form, and publishing an accurate directory. For your optional email address we rely on your consent, which you can withdraw by emailing us.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, its database and the AI models as our service provider, and also forwards mail sent to our contact address. We would disclose information if the law required it.
Where it is kept and for how long
Data is stored on Cloudflare’s infrastructure, which may be in the United States or other countries. Where personal information from the EEA, the UK or Switzerland is transferred, the transfer rests on Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum. That addendum incorporates the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK addendum to them. Notes, email addresses and network-address hashes are deleted after 90 days. Connector names, source links and decisions are kept as part of the public record, with one exception. If a name or link on the log contains personal information, or is unlawful or abusive, we take the entry down on request. The entry then stays in its place on the log, marked as removed with the reason, and its text is no longer shown. Emails you send us are kept for as long as needed to deal with them.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. That includes anything on the public review log: decisions are not rewritten, but an entry that contains your personal information is taken down on request and marked as removed. California residents have the rights to know, delete and correct under the CCPA/CPRA; we do not sell or share personal information and do not use sensitive personal information. People in the EEA, UK and Switzerland also have the right to complain to their data-protection authority. Email hello@appsformuse.com; we answer within 30 days and never penalise anyone for asking.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
